Reflection & Suggestions
Embarking on my teaching internship in Udon Thani International School has been a transformative experience, filled with cultural immersion, diverse teaching methods, and enriching encounters. In the initial week, the warm reception from Udon Thani Rajabhat University and the camaraderie among professors and pre-service teachers created a welcoming atmosphere. The observation days at the school provided a firsthand look into Thailand's education system, revealing a commitment to interactive learning, critical thinking, and holistic development across subjects.

The second week immersed me in local farming practices, showcasing the stark difference between urban and rural educational approaches. The farm schools integrated sustainability into their curriculum, fostering a profound connection between students and their local environment. This cultural exchange continued in the third week at Don Bosco Vitthaya School, where language barriers were gracefully overcome through interactive learning experiences. The observation highlighted a multifaceted approach to language learning, incorporating assessment, review, and practical application.

As I took charge of an English Listening and Speaking class in the fourth week, the experience became even more hands-on. Initiating engaging activities, such as a tree mind map and interactive vocabulary exercises, demonstrated the effectiveness of collaborative and critical thinking activities. Overcoming occasional challenges through assertive classroom management ensured a harmonious and productive lesson, marking a significant milestone in my teaching internship.

Overall, these weeks have not only deepened my understanding of diverse teaching methodologies but also provided a profound cultural exchange. This internship has been a tapestry of experiences, affirming the commitment to holistic education and student engagement, making it an invaluable chapter in my journey as an aspiring educator.
